In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with Dr. Jimmy Walters from Long Island, New York. Jimmy vulnerably opens up about receiving a sudden, life-altering stage four colon cancer diagnosis and how he and his wife of 19 years have walked through this heavy season together. Rather than letting fear dominate his story, Jimmy shares his profound perspective on suffering and how it intersects with his daily callings as a writer, speaker, and advocate at the United Nations.

He walks us through his quest to understand how God can bring a greater good out of this trial to benefit others, holding onto the hope that five years from now he will look back and see the Lord's hand through all of it. If you or a loved one are facing a devastating health battle or questioning God's plan in seasons of hardship, Jimmy's unwavering faith and deep perspective on suffering will profoundly anchor your heart!
