In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with Grace Field, joining the program from Johannesburg, South Africa. Grace shares a refreshingly relatable testimony of faith, noting that she does not have a single dramatic date or time when she met Jesus. Growing up in a loving Christian household, Grace explains that she has simply loved the Lord for as long as she can remember, walking with Him in a steady, lifelong relationship. Married for 21 years and a mother of four children, Grace discusses how her seasons of family life prepared her for a deeper Kingdom assignment. It was after having her children that she stepped into her heart's passion: launching a ministry dedicated to mentoring and discipling young girls in her community. If you have ever felt that your quiet, everyday faith wasn't extraordinary enough, or if you are looking for wisdom on how to balance family life while mentoring the next generation, Grace's encouraging story will deeply refresh your soul!

Grace M Field was born in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa. She moved to South Africa at the age of four. Growing up in a highly dysfunctional home with an abusive father and an emotionally abusive mother, Grace’s life was marked with pain. The dysfunctional home led to her being vulnerable to sexual predators from the age of five into her 30s. From an early age Grace loved Jesus, He was her lifeline.

She got married at 34 to an amazing God-fearing man and has four beautiful children.

Jesus used what happened in her life to birth what she does now. She has written two books to help people who work with children, ages 10-14 years old, to have the vocabulary to express sexual abuse. Lucinda the Ragdoll is available on http://Amazon.com and Luke’s Fortress will be available around October 2026.

She works with women who were sexually abused as children. Studying to become a pastoral Christian counsellor to help others overcome their brokenness, confront their pain and find healing in Jesus. She has been doing this since 2014.

Grace believes that Jesus transforms our pain into purpose and is incredibly blessed to have a front row seat when He works in people’s lives. She believes that she is a living testimony of Isaiah 61:4 and what Jesus is able to do with a life yielded to Him.
