In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with Allison Byxbe from the hot and humid city of Columbia, South Carolina. A mother of three who recently celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary, Allison shares her profound passion for journaling and how it has transformed her own spiritual formation. She shares a heartwarming story of breaking her own record by having a 93-year-old man attend one of her journaling classes!

Listen in as Allison breaks down the do's and don'ts of putting pen to page, noting that the only truly wrong way to journal is to simply not do it at all. She discusses the immense power of being completely honest with your questions, looking for God through biblical metaphors, and how her kids have learned the habit just by watching her. If you feel overwhelmed by the chaos of your days, Allison's beautiful reminder that journaling offers the ability to gain clarity and make sense of the life you're living will deeply inspire you to pick up a pen today!
