In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with author and student Margaret Agard, joining the show from North Carolina. Now 76 years old, Margaret shares a beautiful, life-changing testimony that began during a season of extreme overwhelm in her mid-40s. As a single mother of eight children including five rapidly growing teenage boys who went from five feet to six feet tall in a single year and ate a lot Margaret was the sole financial provider for her family, running a full-time business while simultaneously returning to college to finish her senior year. Facing daily exhaustion and waking up in constant panic, she fell to her knees and began a radical spiritual experiment: she handed her daily to-do list over to God.

Listen in as Margaret shares how God literally went through her daily tasks, crossing out non-essential striving, adding divine appointments, and completely rearranging her life. By shifting her daily prayer from "How do I just get through tomorrow?" to "What do You want me to do today?", Margaret found the freedom to work relaxed and enjoy a full eight hours of sleep.

She discusses her book, her deep resonance with John 8:29, her inspiring decision to pursue another college degree at age 74, and her profound mission to help older adults heal from childhood trauma. If you are currently drowning in an overflowing schedule, struggling with burnout, or wondering if you're too old to start something new, Margaret's beautiful wisdom and her simple reminder that your life is found in your to-do list will deeply restore your soul!
