In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with Pastor Louis M Wade Jr., joining the program from Belize in Central America as the very first guest representing the nation. Louis shares his rich history of ministry, which began in his youth through original Caribbean music infused with authentic Belizean flavor, leading hundreds of people to Jesus over two decades of traveling and performing.

As his ministry evolved, God led Louis into television broadcast media, building network infrastructure and platforms designed to preserve the moral and spiritual foundation of Belize. Alongside raising four sons with his wife, Louis reflects on how God positioned him to stand firm against worldly cultural shifts. He offers a powerful challenge for believers to remain focused on Kingdom purpose, reminding us that every recording, message, and testimony shared for God will outlive us and continue bearing fruit for generations to come. If you want to be inspired by a vision for media evangelism and national transformation, Louis's testimony will ignite your faith!

Rev. Louis Maximo Wade Jr. was born on March 22, 1970, in Dangriga and is the only son among five children. From an early age, Wade demonstrated a passion for education, leadership, and service, qualities that would later define his life’s work in ministry, media, and national development.

Wade pursued his academic journey at Belize Technical College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Arts and Science. He later continued his studies at University of Belize, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. Dedicated to strengthening his spiritual calling, he most recently graduated in 2023 from Seminario Teologico Nazareno with a Bachelor in Christian Ministry.

Before entering full-time ministry and media, Wade began his professional career as an educator, teaching Biology and Chemistry at high schools in Belize City and Belmopan. His passion for music and ministry also led him to become the founder and lead singer of the Christian band D-Revelation, one of Belize’s most popular gospel groups. Under his leadership, the band achieved historic success, becoming one of the few Belizean bands to tour both the United States and Canada, while also selling out the Belize Civic Center on multiple occasions.

During his years with D-Revelation, Wade married the band’s female lead singer, Shasta Wade. Together, on May 8, 2003, they founded Shamax Production Ltd, which grew into one of the five largest cable media companies in Belize and became the only media house based in the nation’s capital city, Belmopan. Through Shamax Productions and PlusTV, the couple built a respected household brand known for community-centered programming, news, and Christian content.

After dedicating 17 years to building the company, in 2020, during the pandemic, Wade shifted much of his focus toward agriculture and personal wellness through gardening, a passion that inspired the creation of a new company, Blessed Gardens. Although he now spends much of his time cultivating his garden, his commitment to faith and service remains central to his life.

Rev. Wade currently serves as the pastor of the Belmopan Church of the Nazarene, where he continues to minister. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Wade was recently appointed as the Senator for the Churches in Belize, further expanding his role in national leadership and public service.

A devoted family man, Rev. Louis Maximo Wade Jr. is the proud father of four sons. Through education, music, media, ministry, and public service, he has made a lasting contribution to Belizean society and continues to inspire many through his dedication to faith, family, and community development.
