Momentum is building. From the core of our family’s vision, it is echoing out into the world.

We started inviting guests to the podcast back in January, and this month, that seed is truly beginning to bear fruit. Naturally, in today's digital age, many people are hesitant at first wondering if our invitation is spam or some sort of trick. But God is opening doors. Liezl, our Head of Communications, has been prayerfully seeking out guests, and the stories we are capturing from Jesus Believers have been deeply inspiring.

Our greatest desire is that these testimonies impact you, the listener, the exact same way they have impacted our own lives.

The Pursuit of Excellence (And Grace)

To make sure these stories land with power, we are aiming for absolute excellence in our delivery. This means our editing process is entirely hands-on and manual. Jahaziel takes the first pass at editing the episode. Then, the whole family sits down to listen together. After our review, Jahaziel goes back in for a final polish.

This is a massive shift for me. If you’ve followed my journey, you know the first ten years and those first 4,242 episodes were riddled with the need to achieve things fast. Speed was the metric.

This time around, I am having grace on myself. I’ve started booking interviews with intentional buffer times in between. Instead of rushing to the next appointment, I actually have the space to sit, reflect, and have a true conversation after the recording stops.

Stewardship & Charity in March

A big part of our family's "Active Faith" is ensuring we are giving back to the community that pours into us.

This month, our charity efforts went toward supporting two authors who were guests on the podcast by purchasing the Kindle versions of their books. I also sent a special gift to a guest who graciously sent me a physical copy of his book.

A quick shoutout to Jeff Zaugg: I have not been able to put DadAwesome down since receiving it! It has been a phenomenal read, I am almost finished with it, and I truly hope you enjoy the gift we sent your way in return.

The 10-Year Anniversary Surprise

March 31st was a monumental day. I woke up that morning to my beautiful wife, Amanda, looking at me and saying, "Happy 10-year Anniversary, Engel. You have been consistent." No, this wasn't our wedding anniversary; it was the 10-year anniversary of my podcasting career! I was more excited to podcast that day than I think I have ever been. I had four interviews scheduled with Jesus Believers, and God had an incredible surprise waiting for me at the finish line.

My final interview of the day was with Judy and Tyrone. They weren't just guests; they were messengers. They brought such profound affirmations about the work our family is doing. Judy and Tyrone, if you are reading this: thank you. Your timing in letting me know my value right on this 10-year marker was a tremendous blessing.
