As a young girl in high school, Kaye navigated a deep identity crisis, entering into three same-sex relationships during a time when it was highly hidden and socially unaccepted in her community. However, during her college years, she began passionately seeking God. Waking up early in the morning for devotions, she experienced a profound spiritual fire and crying in His presence a satisfying encounter that anchored her for life. Kaye also opens up about the supernatural restoration of her household. For five years of dating, her boyfriend was not a Christian, spent his time drinking alcohol with friends, and refused to listen when she spoke of the Bible. Following years of crying, begging, and praying, God captured his heart, completely transforming him.
Today, she is happily married to her husband, who is now training to become a pastor, meaning she is literally "living her prayers" .If that weren't enough, Kaye shares her incredible medical testimony of motherhood. Diagnosed with scoliosis (which her orthopedist warned should prevent her from ever having children), mitral valve prolapse (MVP), hyperthyroidism (associated with infertility), and a retroverted uterus, Kaye's pregnancy was considered highly difficult. Although doctors scheduled an immediate Cesarean section, God intervened. Kaye gave birth normally with a painless, effortless three-hour labor and just two pushes. Today, Kaye and her husband run everyday discipleship life groups, specifically using her past testimony to reach out to and mentor individuals in the LGBTQ community. Today, Kaye and her husband serve together in ministry as part of their church’s worship team and discipleship ministry. They mentor leaders and facilitate multiple life groups for young people, adults, and young professionals, with a heart to help others grow in their relationship with God.
Kaye shares how God has transformed her own life and used her experiences to encourage young people who are searching for truth, identity, and hope. She also celebrates God’s faithfulness through the birth of her son and the transformation she witnessed in her husband’s life after years of prayer.
