In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with author, speaker, and ministry leader Angela Donadio, joining the show from Virginia, right outside of Washington, D.C. Angela shares a beautifully authentic testimony of growing up as a pastor's daughter who quite literally "grew up on a pew" in her local church. While she jokingly reflects on her church-raised background, she vulnerably discusses the critical moment when every believer must transition from their parents' faith to making a personal, teenage decision to fully serve Jesus Christ. Angela opens up about the greatest physical and spiritual trial of her life. Having battled severe endometriosis, she was explicitly told by medical professionals that she would never be able to conceive children. In a stunning display of God's sovereign power, the Lord blessed her and her husband with two "miracle children" before she eventually underwent a hysterectomy in 2001 a surgery during which she nearly hemorrhaged to death.

Today, she shares the joy of watching those miracle children thrive: her daughter, who recently married, and her single son, a clothing designer who expresses biblical themes through his creative brand, Lamb. Angela closes with a timely, fiery word of encouragement for anyone currently walking through a season of delay, confusion, or silent prayers. If you are tempted to throw in the towel because you don't see the immediate fruit of your labor, Angela's profound reminder that a delayed harvest is not a failed harvest will deeply strengthen your resolve to keep moving forward!
