Website Description-In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with pastor, teacher, and itinerant minister Pastor Kwabena Kumah Boakye, joining the show from Ghana. Pastor Kwabena opens up about the deep significance behind his name, given to him by his father. In the Ashanti dialect, Kwabena Kumah Boakye translates to a leader who humbles himself to redeem many, a prophecy that has directly shaped his 23-year journey of helping broken souls find their true identity in Christ.

Pastor Kwabena candidly discusses the real-world sacrifices of ministry, particularly when it comes to resources. Having transitioned from teaching into full-time ministry, he shares how he self-sponsors 90 to 99 percent of his own programs including his major interdenominational gathering, Strings of Prophecy, launched in 2022. Alongside his wife and two children, Pastor Kwabena exemplifies absolute obedience, trusting that God will always provide for what He calls. If you are facing financial challenges in your calling or needing encouragement to stay focused on God's voice through the storm, Pastor Kwabena's testimony will deeply inspire your faith!

Pastor Kwabena Boakye is a Ghanaian minister and founder of Strings of Prophecy, an interdenominational ministry focused on helping people discover and embrace their identity in Christ.

For more than 23 years, Pastor Kwabena has devoted himself to ministry, with a particular passion for reaching people who are hurting or spiritually broken. His ministry goes beyond preaching the gospel of salvation. He focuses on helping people experience transformation through the Word of God and prayer, while developing emotional strength, stability, and maturity through the work of the Holy Spirit.

His ministry includes campus and youth ministries, conferences, itinerant ministry, and prophetic gatherings. In 2022, he launched Strings of Prophecy after receiving what he described as a clear instruction from God to teach the Church about the prophetic ministry, help people understand its purpose, and minister to them through prophecy.

Pastor Kwabena also holds regular Strings of Prophecy gatherings in Accra and other locations. His ministry is driven by a deep commitment to obedience to God and a desire to help raise others whom God can use for His purposes.

For Pastor Kwabena, ministry has been a journey of faith and dependence on God. Although resources have been one of his greatest challenges, he shares that God has continually provided what he needs to carry out the assignments entrusted to him.

Married with two children, a son and a daughter, Pastor Kwabena continues to pursue his calling with one guiding message: “Focus on what God said, focus on what God is saying, and focus on what God will say.”
