In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with teacher, author, and consultant Dr. Chuck Coker, joining the show from his home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Dr. Chuck shares an incredibly raw and moving testimony of how God rebuilt his life after a shattering tragedy. Though he grew up in a Christian home, Chuck drifted into a secular direction for the first 37 years of his life. Everything came crashing down when his previous wife tragically took her own life.

After months of carrying the agonizing weight of grief and self-blame, Chuck stood before a mirror where God gave him a stark, loving choice: continue sitting in misery, or let a loving God rewrite his future. Accepting that divine invitation, Chuck surrendered his life completely, and God "yanked his chain" to set him on a brand-new path.

Over the next forty years, Chuck watched God double his blessings taking him from three children to nine, and opening up platforms for him to teach the gospel and professional leadership across four different continents, including the United Kingdom, Italy, and France.

If you are currently walking through the dark valley of grief, struggling with self-blame, or wondering if God can still use your broken pieces, Dr. Chuck’s profound reminder that the Lord orders our steps and cleans up our mess will deeply restore your soul!
