In this episode of 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers, Engel Jones connects with author and speaker Natasha Pierre, joining the show from Frederick, Maryland. Natasha shares a beautifully honest, encouraging testimony of faith that began right in her childhood home. Raised in a devout Christian household by her grandparents alongside her uncles, Natasha was blessed with a firm spiritual foundation. Influenced by her father’s strong belief in the power of giving, she spent her youth devouring books on generosity, personal growth, and understanding her identity in Christ never realizing that these early reads were watering the soil for the ministry she leads today. As an adult, Natasha climbed high in the corporate world, traveling to 13 different countries on her company's dime and believing she had fully "arrived" as she stood just two clicks away from a C-suite promotion. But everything changed on an unexpected Thursday when she was suddenly let go.

Natasha vulnerably discusses the emotional whiplash of that sudden displacement, how she battled Imposter Syndrome while writing her book, and how years of intercessory prayers in diverse prayer groups anchored her identity when her career vanished. If you are currently navigating a painful career transition, wrestling with self-doubt, or trying to find the courage to take a leap of faith, Natasha's powerful story and her simple reminder to choose radical obedience over human striving will deeply comfort and restore your soul!
