In 2018, Kathy faced the fight of her life when she was diagnosed with aggressive, triple-negative breast cancer. Enduring six months of intense chemotherapy including a treatment known as the "Red Devil," which her friend re-named "God juice" along with six surgeries and severe infections, Kathy experienced a profound spiritual rebirth. She transitioned from being a "checklist performance Christian" to truly trusting Jesus as Lord every single day. She shares how losing her long dark hair and receiving white-blonde hair in return became a tangible daily reminder of Ephesians 3:20\. When tragedy struck and her daughter Elena passed away, Kathy stood before 800 young people at her celebration of life to declare that joy and grief can coexist and that God's love Casts out fear.
