In Episode 20, Pastor Kevin Parker joins the podcast from Amarillo, Texas, to share profound wisdom from decades of ministry and a marriage that began in 1984. Kevin opens up about the devastating, early loss of his two-year-old son to heart challenges, and how standing firmly on the word of God carried him and his wife through that grief as they raised their three beautiful daughters.

Listen in as Kevin unpacks his unique approach to pastoral leadership, beautifully comparing it to parenting explaining how God gives you the exact message your specific audience or family needs in any given season. He also reminisces on his days as a high school basketball player to relieve stress. Now at 65 years old, Kevin shares his ultimate life motto: he doesn't just want to live long, he wants to feel strong. He challenges listeners to focus on finishing their specific divine assignments and leaving a truly godly legacy, rather than just a religious one.
